Console Device Registration
Purpose
In order to use a video game console (Microsoft XBox, XBox 360, Sony Playstation 2, Playstation 3, or Nintendo Wii) or DVR Devices (TiVo) on ASU's network, you must register the console's MAC address. ASU does not support older modem-based consoles.
If you would like to connect your console, please fill out the form below. Your username and password are the same that you use for the labs and Ramport. The MAC address must be entered in the form of XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX. Please allow 2 business days for registration to be completed. An email will be sent to the address provided when your request has been processed.
ASU IT has provided tutorials for connecting Xbox and Playstation consoles through Cisco Clean Access, which includes instructions for determining your console's MAC address. Those instructions are listed on the left portion of this page underneath ASU Network-Clean Access heading. For other devices you may have to refer to your console or DVR's manual as a reference.
CAUTION: DO NOT REGISTER YOUR PERSONAL COMPUTER'S MAC ADDRESS WITH THIS REGISTRATION FORM!
