Dear Alumni and Friends,

Angelo State has made a difference in the lives of thousands and helped make the Concho Valley a better place to live. We have been blessed with generous financial support; however, with declining state funds, the need for private investment in ASU has never been greater.

Most people have competing demands for their charitable dollars, and make trade-offs as they decide how to spend those dollars to support the causes that interest them. Giving to Angelo State is a way to touch great causes, such as education, health care, poverty and service to community. Below are three great reasons for your support:

• First and foremost, we hope you give because you believe in Angelo State’s educational mission and you are committed to advancing that mission.
  
• Your contributions sustain the quality of our academic programs, make it possible for us to provide first-rate facilities and resources, and provide scholarship support that helps us keep an Angelo State education within financial reach of students from a wide range of backgrounds.
  
• When you give to ASU, you become part of a tradition of support that goes back decades. The people of San Angelo stepped up and raised the money to create what is now ASU. It is a legacy that has sustained us throughout our history, and with your help, it will continue in the future.
