Club Sports

The Club Sports program gives students the opportunity to participate in special interest sports and recreational activities. Clubs may represent the university in intercollegiate competition or conduct intra-club activities.

Ten participants are needed to form a club and apply for funding. A few possibilities for club sports include:

The University Recreation Department provides limited support with administrative aspects, travel and equipment. For more information, visit the UREC Office.

Extramurals

Interested in traveling with a sports recreation team, but don’t want to organize your own club? Look into extramurals.

Those involved in intramural sports who demonstrate good sportsmanship and are in good academic standing may have the opportunity to travel to other schools for extramural competitions.
