University Recreation (UREC)

The ASU Recreation Department is a popular hangout for anyone who likes physical activity. While intramural sports is the largest program that University Recreation operates (about 140-160 teams per team sport), the department also offers fitness classes, open recreation hours and sports equipment check-out to all students, faculty and staff.

Our goal is to promote and enhance healthy lifestyles and wellness through participation opportunities, educational experiences and supportive services. Through recreation and sports competition, UREC provides a safe environment for socializing and improving sportsmanship and leadership.
