Apply to the Honors Program
In order to be accepted into the Honors Program, you must complete and send the following:
- Application Form: The application form must be typed. Handwritten applications will not be processed and will not be returned.
- Two (2) Reference Forms: The two references must be academic references.
- Applicant Disclosure Form
- Unofficial copy of your most recent high school and, if applicable, college transcript.
International Baccalaureate High School Students: Students who successfully complete an International Baccalaureate high school program will receive automatic admission to the Honors Program. They must, however, still complete all application materials necessary for being admitted into the Honors Program.
NOTE: The Honors Program will not accept a student who has not fully completed the application process.

Admission to ASU
To gain admission to Angelo State University, students must complete a separate application. The Application for Admission and Explanation of Admission Requirements can be found at http://www.angelo.edu/pstudent/. Please note that you may apply to the Honors Program while seeking admission to the university.
Apply for Housing:
Students must also apply separately for housing. Housing applications from new students may be submitted starting in September for the following academic year. Please visit Residential Programs for this and other important housing-related information. New students are encouraged to apply as soon as applications are available.
Rooms in the Honors area of Texan Hall are restricted to Honors students and assignment to the Honors area is guaranteed until July 15th for students who are accepted into the Honors Program. After July 15th, any remaining spaces may be made available to students who are not formally in the Honors Program, but who meet academic criteria for Honors housing. Students must be officially accepted to ASU before a housing assignment can be made.
