Host Family Responsibilities
Here are some of the basic responsibilities expected of host families
- Have a genuine interest in being a local "family" for your student.
- Meet & greet your student when they arrive at Angelo State University or shortly after arrive.
- Invite your student to interact with you and your family in any special occasions or even on your everyday activities (i.e. lunch, dinner, shopping, birthdays, etc.) at least once a month during the semester or even celebrate your student's birthday.
- Expose your student to as many San Angelo and/or ASU activities as possible!
I know we can show these students what a great decision they made by coming to Angelo State University and participating in this program.
